	Ali (2001)
	Amadeus (1984) A great film about the life of Mozart. I am not able to tell how authentic the story is, but unfortunately the language is not; even the Magic Flute is in English. However the music is simply magnificent and outstanding: brilliantly woven into the story!
	The Amazing Howard Hughes (1977) A nice and interesting portrait of Howard Hughes. Well played by Tommy Lee Jones.
	America's Sweethearts (2001) A pretty funny film.
	Artificial Intelligence: AI (2001) A very intelligent science fiction film about love and responsibilities. Very well made by Steven Spielberg and good acting by Haley Joel Osment.
	The Aviator (2004) A nice film about the remarkable Howard Hughes. Great acting especially by Leonardo DiCaprio.
	Batman Begins (2005) Much better than the other Batman action films. Like the Spiderman films this film goes behind the hero and has therefore more depth.
	A Beautiful Mind (2001) A marvelous, strong and true story about John Nash and his truly original idea, and about being superior and being powerless. Brilliantly told and fantastically played with some serious turn of events.
	Big Fish (2003) A different movie with alternative actors. The movie and story is quite good: a little like Forrest Gump.
	The Big Lebowski (1998) A cool, pretty funny and different movie about a rather complicated case. Great directing and many funny characters.
	Black (2005) A very good and touching film with great acting and a marvelous story.
	Black Hawk Down (2001) A good film about combat showing the ugly side as well.
	Blinkende lygter (2000) A nice film with action and Danish humor. The plot could have been much better.
	The Boondock Saints (1999) A terrific and original action film about taking the law into one's own hands.
	Born on the Fourth of July (1989) Great film on some of the consequences of war and how it can change the life of a soldier.
	Bowling for Columbine (2002) A very thought provoking documentary film. Michael Moore has many good points. However the film is not at all objective and can at times be unfair.
	Bride & Prejudice (2004) There is far too much Bollywood in this film. However it is quite funny. The story does not work that well.
	Bridget Jones's Diary (2001) A pretty funny film.
	Broken Flowers (2005) The film is definitely not a mainstream film. It is a quirky film with funny moments and characters and good acting. Very entertaining and interesting.
	Cars (2006) Great animated film that has it all. Great humour and great story - simple but essential.
	The Chronicles of Narnia: The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe (2005) A witty fairytale with great animations. The Christian "inspiration" however is too big.
	The Cider House Rules (1999) A fantastic film about life and love. The film is well made in every aspect: the story, the acting ect.
	Collateral (2004) An exciting film with great acting and even a few funny scenes.
	The Da Vinci Code (2006) I had read the book. A good film, but the actors are not always that convincing. Otherwise pretty much as you could expect it.
	Daredevil (2003) An okay super hero film with great music. No humor.
	The Day After Tomorrow (2004) Quite an extraordinary film about global warming and mankind. Great special effects and great story. It really makes you respect the forces of nature.
	The Deer Hunter (1978) A great film about life and death and how some experiences can change things and perceptions.
	The Departed (2006) One of the most exciting and thrilling films in a very long time. Great script and fantastic performances.
	Des Hoyaa Pardes (2004) Another great film about circumstances in Punjab in the 1980's.
	Dogville (2003) A fantastic and deep film about conscience and judging. The film is told in the most unusual manner but it works fine.
	Domestic Disturbance (2001) An exciting thriller though not so remarkable.
	Dr. Dolittle 2 (2001) An okay movie with some good surprise voices.
	Dragonheart (1996) A good film about knights and dragons and good versus evil.
	Elizabeth (1998) A good and interesting film about Queen Elizabeth of England.
	End of Days (1999) A nice film about the fight against the devil and the end of days. Some good thought provoking conflicts.
	The Exorcism of Emily Rose (2005)
	Le Fabuleux destin d'Amélie Poulain (2001) A fantastic film about making changes. Brilliantly made and told with some poetic visual effects.
	Fahrenheit 9/11 (2004) A very interesting and thought provoking documentary film. Not as good as Bowling for Columbine, however in my opinion much more important.

	Field of Dreams (1989) An interesting and unusual film about dreams and doing something about them.
	Finding Forrester (2000) A very good and intelligent film about finding one self and ones goals.
	Finding Nemo (2003) A cute and funny film. Even a little exciting from time to time.
	Firewall (2006) A rather disappointing film. It doesn't really have something special to offer.

	Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone (2001) A good, well casted and well told film. Good combination of suspense and humor.
	Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets (2002) Good visual effects and again a very entertaining film.
	Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban (2004) Once again a well made and entertaining film with good visual effects.
	The best Harry Potter film so far. Good entertainment and suspense.

	Hitch (2005) A pretty funny comedy with Will Smith. A few hilarious scenes.
	The Hours (2002) Well told by jumping between different stories and revealing more and more of the mystery.
	Huo Yuan Jia (2006) I really liked the first big part of the film despite the obvious messages. I like when serious topics are dealt with like anger, hate and vengeance. The finish though did not live up to the first part.
	I Am Sam (2001)
	I... Proud to Be an Indian (2004) A dissapointing film about skin heads in UK. I disagree with the messages of the film which to me seem to be self-contradicting.
	Ice Age (2002) A pretty nice and funny animated film. However it is not even close to being as good as Shrek or Monsters, Inc.
	In America (2002) A good and intelligent film about some immigrants from Ireland and their challenges, preferences, mutual relations and responsibilities towards each other.
	James Bond I: Dr. No (1962) Great classic film. Exciting and a good plot. A tougher James Bond with less humour. And unfortunately no Aston Martin yet.
	James Bond II: From Russia with Love (1963)
	James Bond III: Goldfinger (1964) Good plot, theme song and Aston Martin!
	James Bond IV: Thunderball (1965) Great plot and special effects.
	James Bond V: You Only Live Twice (1967) A good James Bond film with a lot of action and special effects.
	James Bond VI: On Her Majesty's Secret Service (1969) Some good twists and surprises along the usual action.
	James Bond VII: Diamonds Are Forever (1971)
	James Bond VIII: Live and Let Die (1973) A conventional Bond film of the time with "all the usual refinements".
	James Bond IX: The Man with the Golden Gun (1974) What you would expect from a Bond film. With traditional Bond humour.
	James Bond X: The Spy Who Loved Me (1977) A great Bond film. Exceeds your expectations being bigger and wilder than the previous ones.
	James Bond XI: Moonraker (1979) Still wilder, but maybe too wild. Too much science fiction (not to say Star Wars inspiration) and too goofy.
	James Bond XII: For Your Eyes Only (1981) A descent Bond film with a nice plot and good twist.
	James Bond XIII: Octopussy (1983) A good Bond film. More funny and complicated than usual.
	James Bond: Never Say Never Again (1983) The unofficial Bond film with Sean Connery back in action. Primarily for those who didn't like Roger Moore as 007.
	James Bond XIV: A View to a Kill (1985) Great music and some magnificent scenes. Descent plot and story.
	James Bond XV: The Living Daylights (1987) Great debut for Timothy Dalton as 007. Exciting film with good plot.
	James Bond XVI: Licence to Kill (1989) A fairly good film. Though a little too "anarchistic".
	James Bond XVII: GoldenEye (1995) A great debut for Pierce Brosnan as 007. Good movie and descent plot.
	James Bond XVIII: Tomorrow Never Dies (1997) Great Bond film with everything that it takes.
	James Bond XIX: The World Is Not Enough (1999) Marvelous plot. Great bond film!
	James Bond XX: Die Another Day (2002) A very good Bond film with a great and original plot and many small references to previous Bond films.
	James Bond XXI: Casino Royale (2006) A quite different Bond film taking place before the others (a prequel) but still in present days! Less but still good action and more psychological game. Great debut for Daniel Craig as an untamed James Bond.
	Jing wu ying xiong (1994) Some good martial arts but from time to time it is just too much. The story is better than usual for this kind of films.
	Johnny English (2003) A quite funny movie with a typically clumsy Rowan Atkinson.

	King Kong (2005) Magnificent scenography and special effects. Good cast and acting. But what’s more: it's about simple and natural emotions, despair, betrayal, power, love, greed, devotion, sympathy, regret, innocence and much much more combined with just the right doze of humor. It is very much about us as humans. All in all a fantastic film with all that it needs.
	Kiss Kiss Bang Bang (2005)
	Kiss of the Dragon (2001) Jet Li in action. Great martial arts and a traditional story.
	Land of the Dead (2005) Despite some good shocks and creepy special effects as you would expect from a film like this, the film is quite disappointing primarily due to the story.
	Lara Croft: Tomb Raider (2001) A nice action adventure movie with good action scenes.
	The Last Samurai (2003)
	The Legend of Bagger Vance (2000) A nice film about changing and believing in yourself.
	Little Man Tate (1991) A nice film about a gifted child and the challenges he and his mother face.
	Lock, Stock and Two Smoking Barrels (1998) A refreshing original movie with an excellent story and superb directing by Guy Ritchie.
	The Lord of the Rings: The Fellowship of the Ring (2001) A truly magnificent and very exciting film with great scenography and music and a fantastic story told with poetry and detail.
	The Lord of the Rings: The Two Towers (2002) The magic continues with a little more humour. Peter Jackson keeps impressing you; not least with the computer animated Gollum.
	The Lord of the Rings: The Return of the King (2003) The final chapter is as exciting and eventful as the others and a worthy end to this exceptional trilogy.
	Maachis (1996) A very good, captivating and touching film about the post 1984 situation of Punjab. The film brilliantly shows how torture and injustice can lead to taking the law into one's own hands and the consequences of doing this. Good cast.

	Meet the Parents (2000) A funny film with many terrific episodes. A great cast and story line.
	Meet the Fockers (2004) Pretty funny but not as good as the first one.
	Memento (2000) A mind puzzling and brilliantly told movie that makes you suffer from the same disease as the lead character.
	Men of Honor (2000) A nice film about not giving up and fighting for your goals. Great performances by Cuba Gooding Jr. and Robert De Niro.
	The Message (1976) A very well told story about the Prophet Mohammed and the beginning of Islam.
	Million Dollar Baby (2004) A fantastic film with much more deapth than expacted. Even thought provoking. Great story and acting.
	Mission: Impossible (1996) Great action and a very good plot. Exciting to the very end.
	Mission: Impossible II (2000) Great action and a nice plot with good surprises.
	Mission: Impossible III (2006) Good action, thrill and suspense with the usual twists.
	Monster's Ball (2001) A nice film about destiny, prejudice and how circumstances can change things.
	Monsters, Inc. (2001) A funny and extremely cute film. Both children and adults will enjoy the film.
	Monty Python and the Holy Grail (1975) A very funny film Monty Python style with some great hilarious moments.

	O Brother, Where Art Thou? (2000) A nice fairytale with all that it requires.
	One Night at McCool's (2001) Pretty cool movie, entertaining, funny and well told. Reminded me of There's Something About Mary.
	The Party (1968) A funny and sweet film. Great performance by Peter Sellers as Hrundi V. Bakshi.
	The Passion of the Christ (2004)
	Pay It Forward (2000) A great film about being unselfish and changing the world. Great acting and story. There was more to the film than I had expected.
	The Pianist (2002) A tough and moving film about Polish jews during World War II. Good story and acting.
	Pinjar (2003) A very intelligent film with an original and touching story. Very well made.
	Pink Floyd The Wall (1982)
	Pirates of the Caribbean: The Curse of the Black Pearl (2003)
	Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Man's Chest (2006) Captain Jack Sparrow is back again. He does a nice job and the special effects are quite good. But the story is quite disappointing.
	Pride & Prejudice (2005) A good film but not as much about pride and prejudice as I had hoped.
	Purana Mandir (1984) Doesn't seem that scary today.
	Rang De Basanti (2006) A daring and provocative political film. However with some interesting twists and points.
	Requiem for a Dream (2000) A terrific film about dreams and misery. Very well made.
	Reservoir Dogs (1992) Nice film. A lot of violence and a well told story where anything can happen.
	The Rising: Ballad of Mangal Pandey (2005)

	Romeo Must Die (2000) Nice film with great martial arts and nice music.
	Rogue Trader (1999) A low budget movie with some poor acting. However it tells the very interesting story of Nick Leeson and Barrings Bank.

	Saw (2004) A pretty exciting thriller with a good twist.
	Scarface (1983) A violent but great film about greed and the road to power and money. But also about the costs of this path.
	Se7en (1995) A really great and exciting thriller with alot of suspence. Good cast.
	Shakti: The Power (2002)
	Shallow Hal (2001) A quite funny comedy about seeing inner beauty.
	Shi mian mai fu (House of Flying Daggers) (2004) Another great and artistic martial arts film from China. Good story and once again great scenography.
	Shichinin no samurai (Seven Samurai) (1954) A nice samurai story with traditionally deep samurai thoughts.
	Shrek (2001) A sweet and outstanding animated film and one of the funniest films. A very untraditional fairytale with an outstanding performance by Eddie Murphy.
	Shrek 2 (2004) A good and funny animated film. However Donkey is not as entertaining as in the first Shrek film.
	Signs (2002) A truly exciting thriller packed with suspense. Terrific story with a great point.
	The Skulls (2000) An exciting thriller about an Ivy League secret society.
	Sleepers (1996) An okay star packed film. However the film is lacking something special.
	South Park: Bigger Longer & Uncut (1999) Packed with profanity and you may find it offensive. But entertaining with many hillarious scenes.
	Spider-Man (2002) An action packed film with all what it needs. Tobey Maguire is perfect for the role.
	Spider-Man 2 (2004) As good as the first one and with more humor. The story is good and well told.
	Spider-Man 3 (2007) Great special effects and very funny. But the script is rather disappointing from time to time. The film does not compare to the previous Spider-Man films.
	Star Wars: Episode I - The Phantom Menace (1999) Great special effects. The story is okay. A must see for every Star Wars fan. Start with Star Wars IV to VI, if you haven't seen them.
	Star Wars: Episode II - Attack of the Clones (2002) Another great story about the Jedi knights. The plot is good, and the film seems to fit perfectly into the others.
	Star Wars: Episode III - Revenge of the Sith (2005) A great film and a worthy final to the saga. Great story where many loose end are tied together.
	Star Wars: Episode IV - A New Hope (1977) A truly magnificent film with spectacular sound and special effects and many original characters.
	Star Wars: Episode V - The Empire Strikes Back (1980) Absolutely great. The story develops, surprising secrets are revealed and the brilliant Master Yoda is introduced.
	Star Wars: Episode VI - Return of the Jedi (1983) The struggle between good and evil continues, but the story takes an interesting turn of events. There is more confrontation and more fun than the previous films.
	Stigmata (1999) A fantastic film about stigmata and the Gospel of Thomas. The film is very exciting and has a strong message.
	Strangers on a Train (1951) A pretty exciting horror film by Hitchcock.

	Terkel i Knibe (2004) Quite funny movie. Good mix of black humor, stereotypical characters and cartoon violence.
	Terminator 3: Rise of the Machines (2003) A nice film. Fits great in with the others. Good humour, action and story.
	The Third Man (1949) A very good film that raises some interesting questions. An interesting use of lights and shadows.
	A Time to Kill (1996) A fantastic film about racism and first and foremost about prejudice.
	Trading Places (1983) A pretty funny film that might even learn you a little about derivatives trading as it was in the early 1980's.
	Traffic (2000) Good story and very nice shot. Benicio Del Toro is great as Javier.
	Training Day (2001) A good thriller with very good acting by Denzel Washington.
	Troy (2004) Good entertainment with great war scenes, drama, hatred, revenge, power and tactics. Not as black and white as most action films.
	Der Untergang (2004) A very good film with great acting especially by Bruno Ganz as Hitler. The film brilliantly shows the madness of the situation.
	The Usual Suspects (1995)
	Van Wilder (2002) A fairly funny teenage film.
	Veer-Zaara (2004) A very good and captivating film. From time to time poetic lyrically as well as visually.
	The Village (2004) Really exciting and scary. More than Shyamalan's other films. Great surprising plot.
	La Vita è bella (1997) Live is beautiful, so is this superb tragi-comedy. An unrealistically idyllic story in the darkest of times that should never be forgotten. The film is very touching and unusually balanced between humour and darkness.
	The Whole Nine Yards (2000) A truly funny film with a nice plot. Mathew Perry is simply hilarious.
	X-Men (2000) Great and exciting science fiction movie, with a good topic, story, metaphors, characters and actors.
	X2 (2003) Great plot. A film with good depth and meaning.
	X-Men: The Last Stand (2006)
